Studvnge Prototype

A Figma mobile app prototype dedicated to students trying to find internships. The basic requirement was to use a draggable map on the Figma prototype and it had to be in a mobile app format. I chose to do an internship finder app, with the targeted audience of college students in mind.

Research

I did some competitive analysis on traveling apps Expedia and StudentUniverse, Life360 which has dragable maps, and Evernote for it’s navbar drawer. I also researched HandShake, which is also for finding internships for students, and seeing what information they displayed to the user.

Styling

For colors, I decided to do a complementary system with the primaries being pastel purple and yellow.

For type, I wanted a futuristic font to imply that students are using this app for their future careers, and a body font that was easily legible with lots of weight variants. For headings, I chose K2D and for body text, I chose Franklin Gothic ATF.
